Our trip to Dubai - review of the tour operator Anex Tour
We took a tour on Onlinetours a couple of weeks before departure (December 2018) and quite cheap: 33,000 rubles for two to a 3 * Centro Sharjah hotel from Kazan. Our friends hesitated a little, and they got 39 thousand, which is also inexpensive for 5 days of vacation in the UAE (Sharjah). Already there were people who found an offer for 44 thousand for 11 nights! Very cool 🙂
Flight: Azur Air is, in general, the most common charter. Old planes, bad food are common. But it is several times cheaper (with a voucher) and more convenient (there are direct flights from the regions). We got to Dubai without delay, but back ...
Transfer: everything went perfectly to the hotel and to the airport + we were lucky to be brought in first, and on the way back we were taken last.
The hotel itself: breakfasts, rooms - no complaints, also free transfers to Sharjah beach and Dubai Mola became an additional convenience. And a heated pool outside, of course 🙂 We did not go down to a meeting with the guide, although we were "lured" by the lack of information boards in hotels and other ways of contacting a representative on the issue of a return flight. The guide still left an envelope for us under the door with a contact phone number.
At the end of the rest, it happened unforeseen... We arrived at the airport, passed registration, control, announced boarding, got on the bus and ... we were dropped off, and the flight was canceled for technical reasons (aircraft breakdown). They were supposed to take off on December 26 at 4 pm, and took off on the 27th at 8 am!
BUT! We must pay tribute to Anex Tour. After 4 hours we had dinner at the "five-star" Ghaya Grand Hotel, where we spent the night. However, I had to sit at the airport in complete obscurity for about 3 hours. In such cases, business lounges are very helpful (but how to get there?). As a result - plus 1 day in Dubai in a 5-star hotel. Well, they also fed food not Azur Air, but food cooked in the UAE. Also a plus.
